Pure Pastures Meadow Hay is a wonderful sweet smelling soft meadow hay which is perfect for munching. It has been dust extracted so is virtually dust free and grown in UK pastures without the use of chemicals.
Soft, thin stems ensures it is a hay easy to eat and comfortable to snooze (or poop!) in.
To ensure year round consistency of quality, Pure Pastures Meadow Hay is blended from a number of grasses from the same local area - so whether you buy in February or October, you can be sure your little ones will approve!

Available in Medium (approx 900g), Large (approx 1.8kg) and Maxi (approx 4kg) bags. These are not a highly compressed packs (although the Maxi is tore tightly packed than the other sizes) and the hay is easy to get out of the bag (unlike some highly compressed hays) .... an important feature when your little ones are a little impatient!!

Some bags of this hay are great, nice long strands of fresh hay which my rabbit loved. However, some bags are much less fresh and contained mould which appears to be a common problem with small animal hay suppliers in the UK this year. This is definitely an issue that was present when the hay was shipped to me as the last bale that I opened that contained mould I opened within 24 hours of delivery.

While hay quality can be particularly challenging across the industry during certain harvest years, that does not lessen the concern when it affects a product you've purchased for your rabbit.
