Greater Plantain is similar to the more common Plantain (Ribwort Plantain). Greater Plantain has a shorter, broad lead - hence its common name of Broadleaf Plantain (it can also be referred to as Major Plantain...so many names for a little plant!).
Greater Plantain is slightly more seasonal than Ribwort Plantain, so it won't be available year-round.
Greater Plantain is enjoyed by rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas and other small animals. It is just perfect for feeding as part of a natural diet, as a treat or as extra tastiness to hay for added foraging fun!
Greater Plantain is excellent at helping to support normal digestive function, and can be useful as an appetite stimulant in times of illness. It is high in fibre too!
