Beetroot is enjoyed by rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas and other small animals. It is just perfect for feeding as part of a natural diet, as a treat or as extra tastiness to hay for added foraging fun! Being diced, it is easy to ensure only a small amount is fed (it is a treat!), and it can be used in treat dispensers or activity toys too.
Beetroot is a source of folic acid, vitamins C and B1. Reputed to support natural circulatory function as well as having detoxifying properties.
